So, day 3 was not as fun at 1 or 2. It was spent getting ready and packing up. Quite frankly, I don’t think a weekend was long enough! Day 2 was by far a blast and I could have used another full day! Very much needed trip and very fun!
Me being me, I had to mention getting pictures done while we were there. I was not disappointed by the beautiful scenery!
We went back to the same spot we had the day before. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a whole group shot because I didn’t have a tripod. But, we did get some great individual family shots!
As always, my mother and father-in-law are so gracious. This weekend was much more than I thought it would be. I thought we would just go and “hang out” and get some time away…
They brought everything we could ever need for a great trip! My heart is completely overflowing with love for my family!
Watching Peanut and Leonard bond this weekend was just such a blessing! CJ is an amazing big cousin to Peanut. I am so glad Peanut has him to look up to. But, having a 4-year-old girl cousin is just so much fun for a little boy! She loves taking care of and playing with him, and he loves all the attention! CJ is at the age where he likes to hang with the adults sometimes too. Peanut & Leonard were inseperable almost the whole weekend, with about 100 hugs! He even learned to say her name & gave her flowers he picked!
Sometimes, at the end of a trip, its nice going home. Lake Monroe was only an hour or so away and the weekend was just too short! Can’t wait to go back, I honestly didn’t want to leave!
